Implants treatment can be carried out in three phases: treatment planning, implant placement and crown placement. Your doctor will take x-rays ,OPG or CTscan [CBCT] and create a model of your existing teeth to determine where and how the implant should be placed.
The implant in then placed in the bone and given a period of the crown. in some cases, you can receive a temporary crown the same day. The final crown is usually placed 3-6 moths after implant placement in conventional old technique.But in latest technique bicortical or basal implants the final crowns can be given on same day if number of missing teeth are few,or within 3 days if all the tooth were missing.
